This video will show you the main reasons writers need and must get paid for the hard work they do. Without them, there would be no content based sites at all. As a blogger, copywriter and publisher myself, I am sometimes aghast at why some writers want you to write for their site in exchange for what they call the privilege and exposure factor. Well, at the end of the exposure is not a many to many relationship, and only lasts a short while. In the end…pay me!
Profit Doctrine Lifestyle: Preparation and Planning

When you read about successful internet marketers, it’s always promoted as super rich, trips to Vegas, an astronomical amount of cash flow. You get the pictures of million dollar homes, expensive cars, pictures of six figure, and seven figure bank accounts. Yes, the internet lifestyle is showed to you this way to motivate you. There are some marketers who absolutely have achieved this wealth and can legitimately validate their achievements. There are some marketers who love photoshop, portray an inaccurate picture of the revenue they are generating and the lifestyle they are living. However, in both these instances one thing that you really never get a good picture of is getting an understanding of what it was like for them in the beginning. You never get a snapshot of the expenses that it takes to achieve those results. For example, many of the top gurus have high overhead with having an office, a staff, paying out premier and personal affiliates, partnerships. These are all great things to keep the operation they have built going, but also, that type of operation also costs a great deal of money.
As a subscriber to ProfitDoctrine, I aim to provide an accurate picture of what it takes from the beginning and living the lifestyle. I won’t necessarily be hyping the positives, I also want to show the negatives, but more importantly and more truly the lifestyle behind the scenes. I want to show that generating only $100 in a day could be considered a successful day. I want to showcase being able to eat at the local diner as a celebration dinner for my efforts is part of the internet lifestyle. I also want to showcase the lonely days, where, the time goes by and you are wondering whether or not what you are doing is worth it. To showcase whether the new product I developed, whether or not people will love it. Here, at ProfitDoctrine, you will see the ups and downs.
I’m almost at the point of launching this site. Currently, there is no base “blog launch plan” created. I guess it’s something I should think about. However, I’ve been creating blog posts for the past week, and it has been challenging, but has me definitely focused. One of the frustrations is that I seriously want to be putting in more time developing my products, and service offerings. However, I know that building this foundation as ProfitDoctrine will be my platform to showcase what I’m doing on a daily basis. I think once I get all the blog posts complete, I will have more focused attention on new product development, focused on building a network of marketing relationships, a following, as well as a quality & happy customer base. I have already started this on the customer side, which has brought me this far today. Developing this blog by myself is definitely a stepping stone.
To this point, I have shut myself out of regular stuff like watching too much t.v., chatting online, Facebook, MySpace, going out and partying, traveling. Even responding to emails has been cut out, all to spend more focused attention of the goals and tasks at hand. It is definitely an awakened experience, whereas, if I was on a regular job, it technically would be the same thing, but I’m getting 200 times more done doing things my way. On the job, I’d be seriously only working about 2 hours out of a 8 – 10 hour day, the rest of the time is answering emails, chatting, schmoozing, and looking for jobs, etc. I wouldn’t say I’m bored, I would say the challenge is to try & think of ways to do things faster. So I am naturally drawn to creating mini-systems of processes and tasks. In every task I am doing in conducting the business, I am starting to think about it systematically, from creating a post, to promoting the post, creating a product, my outsource methodology, the way I want to network and communicate with others. Many marketers will say to simply take action and do something, or just get it started. That’s great, however, when it comes time to compete and when it comes time to really see high quality results, you want to have a plan in place.
So right now, there is no glamour, there is no fun. There is challenges, and goals to be met. Right now, I’m happy about being on track. By Friday, September 17th, I should be done with the second phase of my blog posting plan, and on to the third phase. Soon, the blogging will be a daily function of business, rather than the preparation of a blog launch or development initiative.
